Me too, this morning. Good luck fren!
Thank you, to both of you for standing up and speaking out. I am so inspired by each person that posts their personal battles. Every single one of these is necessary and you empower others when you show up and speak up. THANK YOU-praying you both kick ass today! (Also, please report back to us!)
This is true, some people need to see other people stand up to feel more confident.
I’m sorry to report we were not successful unmuzzling the kids during class. The County last week mandated all County buildings. We will not give up and support for parental choice is growing, but still very, very blue. 😭
Edit: part of our problem was last week the county mask-mandated all county buildings, which includes the school, watch for that move.
Sounds like you need to take your show to the county! Don't stop now, I still think it's amazing you went to make a stand. Gather people and start telling the county how you feel! Now is not the time to give up!
Good luck!! God is behind you!
My wife is based and is researching exactly how our local School Board is spending our taxpayer dollars.
$11,000 annually for : AASA - The School Superintendents Association https://www.aasa.org
$10,000 annually for : NAESP - National Association of Elementary School Principals - https://www.naesp.org
What gets REALLY interesting is how these and other "Associations" are tied to Google, Fakebook, Missing Children Associations, Insurance companies, Aramark Food Services, Scholastic News, and Critical Race Theory advocates.
The lobbyists help fund these groups and via the unions advocate for their services to the School Boards.
THAT is awesome. How did she decide on a direction to research?
She's the PTA President and couldn't understand why the school board didn't have any money for field trips and buses. Upon researching the school budget, the "Association" fees were very obscure and abbreviated to the point that you had to decipher them.
Follow the money, and one thing leads to another. Finding how the lobbyists were influencing the choices the school board made regarding who their suppliers were was a real eye opener.
Your wife is a jewel. I would bet that what she found is rampant everywhere.
Sick.
You are a hero too! Keep us posted and good luck.
Good luck to you too!
