It sounds like Trump is now beginning to publicly cast some doubt on the vaccines. He's starting cautiously, by questioning the booster shots, but I suspect (hope) that he will be slowly ramping up the questioning and criticism going forward, from here on out.
Trump is perfectly positioned right now. He followed the guidance of "the experts" like Fauci, just like he was supposed to.
Yes I think at this point switching policy to ivermectin treatments and no boosters is a reasonably effective way out. As long as ADE is not a common problem, vaxxed people are probably a little worse off than unvaxed after 6 months, but with early treatment with an antiviral hopefully not that much worse off.
Even if ADE is a problem post vax, so far it seems like it only effects certain immune systems, not all people. Here's to hoping because otherwise there's really no solution to that problem
