my uncle has been on the vent tube for 2 weeks now. We tried taking him off the vent after week one when he was within permissible limits. That backfired threw him into shock... had an extremely hard time recovering from that, he was on a 60hr stall of not getting better or worse. I convinced my aunt it was time to administer the dose of local honey and ivermectin reluctantly she did it. With that said, after 24hrs he made 15% progress and reduced medication Across the board, his color came back to his skin after being a clammy gray for 2 weeks. 24hrs went by after that no progress... 24hrs another dose was administered and now we are talking about takin him off the vent again 24hrs after his last dose. His blood pressure has stabilized and everything. Looking like this might be his last day or two on the vent,God willing.
MORAL OF THE STORY. If your loved one is on a vent tube do what ever you have to do in order to get the ivermectin in them. We requested an ice pack to move around his head to help with a fever and administered the ivermectin paste and honey mixture in his mouth while moving the ice pack around the head. The second time we requested they cleaned around the vent tube in his mouth and insisted that we see it’s secure made a scene told the nurses to leave and during that time put more paste mixture in his mouth. Now he’s doing really well compared to day one.
Administer ivermectin and local honey it at all cost!!!! your loved one depends on it and it’s critical to thier survival.... who cares what the nurses think it’s at your loved ones expense that should be enough to piss you off and give your courage to administer the dose. NUT UP AND DO IT!!!!
Great to hear about your Uncle! Just curious, how old is your Uncle and does he have any other co-morbities (ie diabetes, high blood pressure, etc)? Was the Ivermectin prescribed or was it purchased in a feed store?
He just turned 62. He’s had high blood pressure that he’s always delt with. But minor surgery’s with galblTter and colon nothing else. No diabetes, never smoked, thin and always active, he waited to long initially to get treated
Horse Paste FTW.
Been getting ivermectin from my local Tractor Supply company. Bought some less than two weeks ago, no problem. Looked at their website yesterday to order more, and it has disappeared. Totally. No ivermectin to be found.
Still there: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/durvet-ivermectin-paste-187-608-g
But not at my local store. I usually order online and then pick it up. It is gone from their website. Never had a problem getting it, but apparently they no longer sell it there.
Try a local feed/farm&ranch store. Ours has it for $4.95
Thanks, I'll try that. I don't exactly live in an area where feed stores are common. I think the only reason my local Tractor Supply carried it was because near there is "horse country" as in lots of rich people have horses. Not the working kind, the show kind. Both.
Chewy has Durvet CHEAP
Do they require a prescription? I tried to order flea and tick stuff for my dog a few years ago, and they wouldn't sell it without a prescription.
No
Cool! Thank you.
Thanks! Just canceled Amazon order (that wouldn’t come till October anyway!). It was half the price, and no they didn’t ask for a prescription. 😎
Just FYI—checked Chewy this morning, and would only let me purchase one tube of Durvet—all bundles of more than one were out of stock, and attempting to purchase multiple single tubes was denied. (Said they only had enough to fulfill one tube of my 4-tube order).
Try your local Feed & Seed stores, try Amazon and Walmart websites.
Seems they have the apple flavor of ivermectin available for $10.99 a tube.
wow. Last time I bought it was six dollars and change.
Demand drives prices!
Your uncle is lucky to have you as a nephew.
So, you say your aunt was reluctant. What does she have to say about it now? You saved her husbands life.
Yes that goes unsaid, at this time we are just trying to look at the minor wins and measurable progress. There’s no way I’m rubbing anythin in anyone’s face.... maybe after he is completely recovered I’ll remind him I saved his life lol.
Keep us updated on his progress. I'm sure they'll be glad you took the risks for him.
Either tomorrow or the next day they are going to take the vent tube off of him. The nurse on duty said this is a miracle most people in his prior condition never would’ve came off.
As a retired nurse, I feel I must give caution. If the vent tube goes down the throat into the trachea (as opposed to a tracheotomy tube), there is a risk that anything swallowed could slide along the tube into the trachea and lungs (which could cause pneumonia). If the dose is small and absorbed in the mouth, much safer. If there is a risk of death without the ivermectin, there appears little to lose by trying. Kudos on your successful dosing!
Thank you for the insight my aunt spreads it around his mouth like a coating.
I'm glad you clarified that, in case anyone else is considering it. The info shared here is phenomenal.
It was a paste form, we mixed it with honey.
The virus functions similar to malaria mechanical function inside the blood. It rips the hemes off of your hemoglobin, making your blood not be able to transport oxygen to your organs. This is why COVID causes organ failure, and low oxygen levels. This is also why Hydroxychloroquine works against it, it prevents your hemes from being torn off your hemoglobin. When your hemoglobin is ripped apart, you end up with free floating hemes that are toxic as well as radical Iron particles in your blood that your liver must remove, and when your liver gets overloaded, it is processed in the lungs, resulting in lungs becoming inflamed and filled with fluid. This is also why ventilators don't work, people are breathing fine, they are low on oxygen because they are low on hemoglobin, and no amount of mechanical breathing can increase the amount of oxygen the blood can absorb without hemoglobin.

Absolutely fantastic effort! Very creative way to administer. Please keep us updated.
Bravo to you and your aunt!!!
Glad he's doing better. I can't believe how hard the media is trying to bring down this miracle drug.
I would totally do this if it was my family. Pray he makes a full recovery. And try to get him out of that hospital as soon as possible.
What's with the every 24 hour administration? Is that for grave conditions? What's the honey for? My relative can't have much honey for the phlegm/choking. ....Glad to hear your uncle is doing better. btw
I’ll be honest I’m not sure why the local honey works. I’ve always taken it when I get sick, from my understanding it’s a inhibitor of some form like a super antioxidant. Over a weeks time I used a whole little bear bottle on myself.
So the dosage went Day 1= dose Day 2= no dose/ medications were drastically decreased, color came back, blood pressure finally stabilized. Day 3= dose/ more measurable progress/ fentrnal at lowest levels Day 4= no dose/ permissible limits to come off vent Day 5= today I’ll keep you updated if he doesn’t need it we won’t give it to him if he does then we will. It seems as if every 36hrs the prior dose wears off. But during that time frame his body regains strength to fight more and more.
Thank you.
I used it topically to get rid of rosacea, which it’s recently be discovered is caused by an overgrowth of demodex mites on the skin due to poor gut health. It took 2-3 months used every night before bed, the consistency is kinda sticky and thick and its a gel. In my experience it doesn’t absorb very well it really just sits on your skin like a sticky mess. I had read that people using it for their face were mixing it with a moisturizer before applying and then it would absorb that basically that’s what they did with the Rx cream of ivermectin called Soolantra that’s for Rosacea $200. I did mix it a few times at first when my rosacea was really bad and painful and I wanted to put it on in the mornings too, it worked just fine.
