Free range — as long as they have x sq ft. to ‘range’ we can truly call it ‘free range’. Because what IS a range other than a plot of space?
Even ‘Organic’ can mean many things — as long as x% of the ingredients or process is ‘Organic’ you can legally label it that.
How about ‘Grass Fed’ cows? — well frens, ALL cows are Grass Fed, it’s at the later stages when they are fed grain to fatten them up. So you must now look for ‘Grass Fed’ AND ‘Grass Finished’. BUT, what if during the winter season when them cows eat hay? Are those ‘organic’ and grown without pesticides?
Frens - when it comes to food, source wisely and always go local as much as you can. Befriend a farmer and support them, go to their fields and learn. Do not fall into the monoculture system of agriculture — that does not yield resilient plants, hence why pesticide resistant GMOs are needed. The Plants are diseased… very much like how Urban cities are diseased.
Do you wish to be strong and get a good workout? We’ll go help out your farmer friends with good of manual labor. Then after a long day of hard work, calloused hands and sweat drenched shirt (or go bare chested dudes!)…
Walk up to that sweet patch of cucumber growth … pluck one, give it a quick wipe and bite into it’s crunchy core.
Look into the sunset, savor the moment, while your farmer pede gets the hot coals ready for a good grillin’ …
Then get a few more cucumbers, pluck the peppers, grab some zucchinis (flowers too please? They are great quick grilled)…. Tomatoes, don’t fret the misshapen ones… those are excellent. Then go back and have a good feast…
Apt and true.
