I dragged my husband down this rabbit hole a few years ago. Especially interesting for him as he has spent much time in many of the same kind of mentioned woods settings and seen much weirdness while helping search for missing bodies of Gary Ridgway's victims.

I've read literally all of his books. They are some fascinating stories.

Also, if you want his books, buy them from his site and not Amazon. He doesn't sell his books on Amazon, they are dirty scammers.

We've gotten four. I'm in the middle of one. Pretty incredible stories about how missing toddlers end up miles away and up mountainsides.
