And the millenial reign of Christ? And the tribulation like the world has never seen, and will never see again? Figurative? The judgements in revelation? All figurative?
Jesus is reigning now. The gospel is spreading to every part of the earth and the kingdom is growing. The world is being restored. Life spans are increasing while toiling the Earth is decreasing. You have a device in your pocket that can translate the gospel to nay language and send it anywhere in the world almost instantly. Christianity is growing and the awakening is going to turn the entire world to Christ.
There was a massive tribulation when Rome (7 heads 7 horns was Rome that had seven hills with 7 rulers) destroyed Jerusalem and killed everyone there. The streets were running with blood and people were eating each other. The harlot was judged. You have to ignore history to miss that.
The simplest book on the subject that ties in all the history
Another great book on what Jesus meant my returning Jesus was not being figurative when He said "This generation shall not pass till all these things take place"
