Really? That rings false to me, but I guess I can squeeze it all out, mix it, then take a dose.
I sueezed out the first few notches and threw away the first little bit. I have no clue if that makes any difference.
I'm not really too worried about the med. being on one end or the other. If that was the case they would state only for 1250lb. Horse and not go by weight. That would mean if you used it for a mini horse they would never get the required meds in the very end of the tube.
But the tube is not necessarily only one dose. If you have a 300kg horse you aren't going to give them 600kgs worth.
Yeah, a "tube" is not one dose. It literally has graduations on the plunger that you set based on the animal's weight. If the animal happens to weigh 1250lbs then yeah the whole tube is one dose, but any smaller and use a fraction of the tube.
It doesn't make sense when there are notches on the tube telling you how much to squeeze out for how much the horse weighs. Also simple logic is that you mix it evenly, otherwise you'd just have a smaller tube of the active ingredient.
