The state department is under no obligation to tell anyone whether they've been compromised.
Why would they? What does the state department gain by telling everyone they've been hacked or "attacked"?
Hell, Clinton just gave all intel to China and the state department didn't feel inclined to make a peep about that.
We're just watching a movie. The US public will receive message after message of how incompetent the government is under Biden to let it sink in.
