I think what Trump is doing makes perfect sense. It allows the people who hate Trump, but also dislike Biden, permission to not take the vaccine now. They can now proudly say, Trump likes those stupid vaccines, and I’m not getting one. Trump is playing them right into our hands. Now we can agree on something. Now we can talk to this crazies without them losing it, so as long as “we” disagree with Trump on this matter. Which most of us do.

If Trump comes out and says, yeah the vaccine is bad, they’ll line up to take it. Pure hatred we are dealing with. But doable, since most people like that aren’t very smart.
