Yeah but keep in mind that in most units in the Army people are rotated every 3 years.
I find myself wondering if he really earned the long tab (SF), I can see him getting through Ranger school but kind of surprised he made it through the SF Qualification Course being such a shit bird. I shouldn't be though, many of the Clown black ops guys that have little to no ethics, morals and aren't patriots anymore also came from special ops units. If there are any spec ops boards for retired still public, a lurk through them might show if they've vetted this guy and what they think of him. Years ago I used to lurk on socnetcentral.com or something similar.
It will be wild if it turns out this guy is playing a role and is actually jumping on a grenade for the white hats. I think we'll be unpacking what actually happened in this war for years to come.

I worked for an SF qualied S-3 back in the 80's that left me scratching my head. Kind of phoofy and basically incompetent. I worked with a fast track captain Ranger tabbed that could not, after several attempts pass Jumpmaster School. His troops started calling him Flunkmaster behind his back.
Like most things, you can get really far as long as you look good on paper. But as we know, when it really matters, paper don't mean shit.

I was stuck in an LGBTQ+ hive of a unit in the US Army. One of the worst experiences of my life. I'm not surprised. Although I understand the Army is a far cry from Ranger school and SF. I just know the woke mentality got ahold of the military branches some time ago because of the Power Point presentations we were made to sit through on Fridays.
I can imagine and I'm sorry you had to serve with trash. I wouldn't have wanted to be in anything but combat arms and although the missions are riskier, the further down the tip of the spear you go, the quality of soldiers usually is exponentially higher.
I hear ya and I agree. I didn't want to do combat because I'm female and not qualified for a combat position and I already had a background in veterinary medicine which directly applied to my MOS in the Army.
And combat arms would be lost without support. Forgot if it was Patton or Bradley or who said it, combat arms wins battles, logistics wins wars. From one Vet Pede to another, thanks for your service!
