Just an alternate theory to chew on. Thoughts?

It's certainly possible. I would think the statute of limitations on how long he needs to push the vax would run out after leaving office. Here's my theories:
He is genuinely in favor of the vaccine. I know Ivanka got the jab and probably other members of the family as well.
He mentions it on purpose because he knows how the audience is going to react. Not sure what this accomplishes.
He knows something we don't.
There are a lot of people who believe in the shot. Right or wrong, they do. I've done enough research to comfortably say that I do not believe in the shot. At this point I block out anything Trump says related to the vax because it's a non issue for me. For whatever reason, he's obviously not letting it go. We need to move on from it.
This goes to the very heart of whether or not Trump can be trusted. I trust God. Trump, even though I agree with him on many things, is just a man.
I will let this go when I understand WHY he actively encouraged millions to inject themselves with what appears to be a deadly poison. Because if he can do this, it makes me question his other motives.
This is not something you just move on from.
As a free-thinking human, I have only myself to blame if I make a decision that turns out to be bad. As you say, Trump is just a man. People who do as he says without thinking for themselves have themselves to blame if something goes wrong. Dwell on it if you must, I have to spend my energy elsewhere.
Good point . We are, indeed responsible for making such decisions.
