The media would have done its job and exposed bush jr., the Village Idiot, and the people who supported him.
It is all the neocons' fault we have this mess. All of it. The Afghanistan debacle, the economic situation over the last 20 years, 911, Iraq, the other wars like Syria. TSA feeling up little kids at the airport, the explosion in human/child trafficking, and the demoralization of the American public. Hell add the 'No Child Left Behind' dumbing down of the schools.
All of it went down the drain when the Village Idiot and his ilk were allowed to take power!
PERIOD!
Your perspective seems a tad too myopic.
The deep state has clear roots in modern American government going back to the 1910's and decisively controlled the government and media when it pushed for and succeeded in getting the 3rd federal reserve of America's history. If you take a close look, you can see many less obvious events where the deep state was influencing and controlling government in America all the way back to 1800.
Compromised men have and continue to exist with in every generation. The problem is we have been trained and propagandized since early childhood to be blind to spotting these corrupt and compromised men. This allows these societal pariahs to work and or cheat their way into power undetected where they fortify their position and begin destroying our nation from within by doing the bidding of outsiders with opposing purposes to what is good or right for our nation.
Learn your history better. If we only fixed the problems you are identifying above, the nation would still fall to destruction from within in another 20 years. So your solution keeps us on the destructive path but puts 10 minutes back on the countdown clock. And since people would realize we rolled back the clock some, they would assume all is well cause we fixed all that stuff and destruction would find them at that later date completely surprised that the fixes (like the Covid-19 vaccines) actually didn't fix the real problem at all.
BTW I don't need to be told to 'learn my history better' when I'm practically an expert in political science, politics, American government, and other related topics. I'm not bragging, just letting you know I've been following these types of things since I was 10 years old. It has been an interest of mine going far back.
No I don't have a university degree, and to say I need one is elitist which is the exact problem we have in this country.
I'm sorry...did you read my post....
I don't recall mentioning a degree or university education.
Perhaps you could try again.
perhaps maybe you should just stop commenting...I know you didn't mention that...now I know you wanted to just by your reply.
Given the direction you have taken this, I thought it might be good to quote you for posterity.
Right.. Well we might not agree, but I stand by my argument above.
You have done nothing to counter what I have said except to "not brag" while you informed me of your expertise on the topics you described. Somehow your self declared expertise discredits what I said without refuting or arguing against any specific point.
Next you suggest I said you needed a degree from a university and that I'm being elitist. Which I point out is strange because I never mentioned or insinuated either of those positions.
And when I called you out on your made up straw man about my "elitist" university degree position (the nonexistent position that I don't hold), you have doubled down declaring that by me pointing out that your statement had no basis in what was actually said somehow magically proves that I always wanted to take that position and it was just me leaving that part unsaid.
Are you arguing against me and my actual positions?
Or
Are you arguing against the straw man positions you have setup in the corner of the room?
Considering this is an open forum, I will choose for myself when and where to engage in comment. Your suggestion that I self-censor is noted though. An interesting proposal you make for a forum such as this one.
