Frens, with the Pfizer approval, we've entered a new stage. People will begin to get fired.
Employers now have substantially MORE legal standing to require vaccination due to the approval. DO NOT QUIT. They must FIRE you for you to have any standing for legal action.
I suspect they will start with the schools and hoapitals. Then move to domestic air travelers, then to retail/F&B employees.
Stand strong. This is a major escalation in our war to freedom. We cannot be jabbed due to fear of losing our incomes. It may happen to many. You may not make ends meet. Stand strong.
Our Founders sacrificed their fortunes - knowing full well that if they weren't successful they would not only bankrupt their families, but would also be hung and unable to support their families.
We must be willing to risk it all for principle - then and only then will we be delivered.
Stay strong. Get frugal. Save what you can.
Just saw a notification that the Pentagon is set to mandate it for military without exceptions.
Expect more cities to go the way of NYC with mandates to participate in society
I firmly believe the rush to approve ahead of their schedule was enforce mandates.
They wouldn't need to implement mandates if the number of vaxxed was really at 60-70%.
The battle just reached critical mass.
Do not back down.
They are going to have a problem with pilots. They already have a shortage. They know they are at risk due to high altitudes and blood clots with this death VAX. They won't take it.
They definitely won't take. I know a pilot who was permanently grounded because he had a mild stroke at age 45. Recovered fully but can't fly anymore. Most pilots won't risk it.
I don't know how the military situation will pan out, but the majority of cities enforcing mandates will be the usual blue hell holes. Most red cities are through with this crap.
Being in NYC, I am beginning to suspect that those of us who are done with this crap are being drowned out by the screaming authoritarian banshees.
It's possible that the weather was to blame for it, but this past weekend seemed to be filled with fewer people waiting in line to get into some venues that had long lines prior to the mandate taking effect.
Mind giving us a boots on the ground report? Are placed really requiring it? How are you personally operating?
I have not been to a restaurant or fitness studio since the mandate took effect, only grocery stores (which aren't covered in the mandate, unless the grocery store also has indoor dining).
But I've walked by many restaurants and fast casual dining spots and I haven't seen anyone at the doors checking for proof.
I also haven't seen any signs in the windows or on the doors saying, "proof of vaccine required" in the same way that they did for masks.
Then again, full enforcement doesn't take effect until mid Sept.
I have heard from people that prior to any mandates, there were a handful of bars and restaurants requiring proof of vaxx to enter. Someone I know, who is double vaxxed but lost her card, was turned away from a bar in the East Village prior to any discussion of mandates, because the bouncer at the door was being a nazi about it.
The places requiring proof of vaxx prior to deblasio mandating them were basically virtue signaling. Now they have a reason to be smug about it.
