I know why we say don't quit, and to let them fire you, but my wife, who is a nurse, will lose her pension if she is fired, and won't be able to be re-hired at the same hospital system, should she decide to go back someday.
She feels more comfortable quitting now, and taking a couple of months off to survey the landscape of everything happening in the world, and I support her in this decision.
My question to all of you, other than the obvious opt out of fighting back with the law in the future, what are some drawbacks that we may be missing?

Is she religious? Have her write her religious exemption paper. There are sample letters on the American front line doc website. Her being fired over her religion is defined as discrimination.
Don't depend on exemption. (The hospital in Yavapai County az is outright ignoring all exemptions, incl medical.) Workers need to contact civil rights attorney to discuss class action
Yeah, I'm not taking them seriously either.
We have considered this route. So far, we have been able to keep ourselves free of any PCR tests being jammed into our brains. If she chose this route, she would have to undergo them twice a week, and she only works three days a week. So two of those three days, she would be getting tested.
