Wow - good read. Deficiency said to be related to osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and tooth decay as well as potentially affecting calcification of soft tissues (muscles, the pineal gland, thyroid, cataracts, etc.)
(Sounds like it could have health benefits - no wonder it's been banned in Australia and other countries [even in borax laundry powders].)
Yeah. For some reason this of all things really blew my mind. I've been taking it now for the past couple weeks. Then I started reading the book World Without Cancer also at the recommendation of someone here on GAW. These two combined have completely changed my view of the world of medicine. Even though it was information that I had mostly heard before it was different this time. Now I keep telling people that you only need to know 3 things:
One cannot patent a naturally occurring substance and therefore it has a low profit margin.
The love of money is the root of all evil.
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." Genesis 1:29
The relevance of point 3 may not be readily apparent to some, but to me it reminds me that God has provided all of our needs. What kind of sick person thinks they can create a drug that will do a better job and not cause side effects for something as complex as the human body? Not that that's really their goal anyways, but I digress.
Someone here on the GAW told me to look up the Borax Conspiracy. It's a seriously interesting read and not overly complicated.
