Jason also pointed out that Christian values are what pushed America to better itself, to oppose and ultimately end slavery, to move towards equal and fair treatment of all. No country will ever be perfect, but the Christian values of honesty, fairness, and love for one's neighbors (which can be supported whether one is Christian or not) are still the driving force working to improve the nation.
