I've read that nicotine kills the S1 spike protein, and that it is known that smokers do not get Covid.

Anyone have any anecdotal evidence for or against?

I am. My symptoms were very mild and only lasted about a day. Now that you mention it, I don’t know any other smoker that has gotten it (knock on wood)
