oh okay, well I went through the photos twice and there's a weird fold on his pants above the left ankle.

For sure he wouldn't really need an ankle bracelet, it would just be for a comm.

He also wouldn't really need a fit bit to monitor his fitness progress with his wife, who needs to sit down after a half mile.
