Today they notified us that if we aren’t vaxxed by sept 11 we go on a 4 week unpaid leave and if we aren’t vaxxed by then they will consider it a mutual separation, and will give neutral info on new job inquiries… Unless I get approved for an exemption and in that case I have to get tested weekly… I work from home in another state.
I’m going to let it play out and let them fire me then join any lawsuits that come out of it… anybody have any info on any lawyers or groups I can start looking into?
Some good advice posted here, do nothing, sign nothing, if you're state is a non-consent state, record the conversation. Otherwise indicate you'd like to record the conversation if that's okay. If they have nothing to hide, should be a non-issue.
Also, if you have any vacation time, give no indications about vax status, but see if you can put in to use it.
And tell them you did it! Have them hesitate and be afraid. Let them know there will be repercussions if they attempt intimidation
