Today they notified us that if we aren’t vaxxed by sept 11 we go on a 4 week unpaid leave and if we aren’t vaxxed by then they will consider it a mutual separation, and will give neutral info on new job inquiries… Unless I get approved for an exemption and in that case I have to get tested weekly… I work from home in another state.
I’m going to let it play out and let them fire me then join any lawsuits that come out of it… anybody have any info on any lawyers or groups I can start looking into?
How can it be an unpaid leave if you prove that you keep showing up to work, and if you can't get in, that it is the employer not allowing you to enter?
I work from home, computer stuff. I think they will lock me out of their system.
My job did the same. Told us we had to return in office in may and had to report everyday to the “us task force” regarding our Covid status. Must wear mask all day and no leaving the building or Covid testing required. I said no and they pulled that “voluntary separation” crap with me saying they gave us advanced notice. Been out of work since June but God continues to provide. We are self employed and I have a new passion to support my husband 100% in our OWN LIFE. Tired of working for some other man when I have my own man to support fully. It’s scary but none of this means anything anyways. God speed patriot and prayers going up!
