They demonised him for this purpose, Trump knows this and must therefore accord with the deep state position on vaccines so that it remains discuss-able in the mainstream/liberal world.

Trump understands, I trust, the dynamics of this. It is "be like water" in action.

Its important to remember that every single time that Trump has said (and I'm paraphrasing here) "get the vaccine" it has been followed up with "if you want to"

That's good... Supports the idea he is foiling media strategy. Nodbody can argue with the offer of informed choice. This is a wedge issue forming, so thanks, we need to repeat your point whenever it comes up. Trump is playing it optimally.
