I live in a rural community in SW Missouri and was in town yesterday for supplies. Dollar General had some significant holes in cleaning supplies, but grocery shelves were fairly well stocked with a few holes. Some paper goods were low stock, but that's occasionally been the case in this store even before 2020. The grocery store had no Mrs. Smith's pie/cobbler products and in fact all labels for that were gone, but that may be a supplier change because there was a different brand in place. Otherwise, no major holes of any note. The store manager told me she is having a terrible time getting Peter Pan peanut butter.
Zero Hedge had a column on this today with indications that shortages are coming due to lack of employees and supply chain problems.
