Within the last few hours the mods of probably 20+ subs have been 'calling out the rampant Covid misinformation on reddit', probably 10 of those post have made it to the top 300 on /all and it seems to be a concerted effort at rooting out/removing r/vaccinesideeffects and similar subs that are reporting things that goes against the 'vaccine good and harmless'/'dystopia and fascism justified by Covid is a good thing' narrative....
This shit is just about to go full on 'rancid up in a corner waving a knife hysterical'.......
I noticed one of those posts on r/navy the other day. I figure it fits well with that canoe club of surrender-prone homos (Iranian capture of US patrol gunboats), in a sub that features 24/7 heroic shit like the 75% of USN that's vaccinated (according to recent Pentagon stats) rooting for their vax-hesitant shipmates to keep fighting it so they get punished by being discharged, so that their own advancement opportunities increase. Or gashing about how rusty an aircraft carrier is (that completed 14 months deployed during the last 18 months) as it is being moved into the NNSY shipyard for repairs and how negligent the crew was for allowing it to get like that. Another popular subject is the muh feelz of the sexual assault victims - has to be half of the Force at least, who cant go back to the ship because "my LPO is a bully and he yelled at me so I felt like I was raped." I've been retired for 20 years. I dont know what happened.
Lot's of Deeply entrenched DS in most navies(who do you think looks the other way when it comes to certain ships, runs interference etc.), certainly not all bad but there is more if it there than in other branches, just like there are more officers in most navies than there are officers in the other branches combined in most countries...
