Oh well I'm right there with ya. I don't hardly ever eat processed sugars and foods like that probably since I was first introduced to wrestling in high school. I've been conditioned psychologically to crave farm fresh produce after many years of that shit and even after I stopped doing sports the nutritional aspect stayed with me.
But I'll always remember what it was like to bite into a fresh Krispy Kreme donut after shedding 10 to 12 pounds to make weight for a wrestling tournament where a bunch of country boys with retard strength would try and kick my ass for 10 hours.
Fascinating. I don't doubt it! I remember how sweet cold water would taste after those grueling 3 a day practices. Water literally began to taste like it was sweetened. Crazy how the brain works. How sensation & perception is all based on electrical signals being selectively interpreted by the brain and all that jazz.
