Just that Pine Needle Tea has been mentioned several times as something good to be drinking for this. A month or so ago, felt the need to make a post on NOT going out in your back yard and snagging Pine Needles yourself until you check to make sure they were not the poisonous variety. heh. KNOW your local Flora, most places have healthy herbs growing in the wild but, you need to research your local area to know what ones are good and what ones to stay away from.
My mom taught me about freezing your flour, rice... all dry goods, for a few hours before you put them on the shelf. If any larvae is in there it kills it before it can hatch.
Yes, if people could know their local flora, that would be great. And to be honest, my first thought when hearing about the Pine Needle Tea was to wonder if you could trust the commercial sources selling it. I love tea anyway, and would be interested in trying it. If you happen to know of any safe sources, please let me know. And thanks for the explanation.

I buy it from a reputable seller on Etsy:
Organic White Pine Needles for Tea https://www.etsy.com/listing/842009732/white-pine-needles-for-tea-fresh-pine
Open the box and freeze them immediately as soon as they arrive.
