Who controls Bagram air base? 🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬

It seems to me that the Taliban cannot be in complete control of everything. If they are focused on the airport in Kabul, why are we not re-taking Bagram? Setting a workable perimeter and using it as the evacuation point?

Everything I've heard is that it's a defensible position. Seems like the most cost effective and workable solution to getting our people out; misguided as some of them may be.
