Stylistic/accuracy note: I prefer the active term "God-forsaking" (which they transparently are), rather than the passive "God forsaken" (I don't think God has specifically forsaken an inanimate object😁). Also valuable if you try to avoid taking the Lord's name in vain, which I think is smart, to put it mildly.
