grew up in the 70s and saw the Exorcist on TV. scared me and made me realize that this world is not what it seems. I've been leery and questioning ever since, probably even before that because I thought Mr. Rogers was strange too, and that was around 1969. first real aha moment with cabal was the Franklin scandal and George Bush.
I don't know if Mr. Rogers himself had any issues, but he seemed real committed to the PBS universe and PBS = shady. and I could sense that as a child.
PBS might pretend to help kids, but they're really guiding children into a leftist world.
He was a very conservative guy and he promoted values on the show. I really hope he wasn't a pervert or commie globalist. I know he was married for like 50 years to the same woman with 2 kids. Hopefully he was one of the good guys. I think more than any other person if he was evil I would be shocked. And I think I've seen it all after the last 6 years of rabbit holes. I agree that PBS is a shit organization
yeah I don't think you need to worry about him as a person... just like with Britney Spears, I think she was a good person in a f'd up system. I could just tell that PBS had an agenda, and that's why I preferred some of the other channels/shows. have to say that I would take old Mr. Rogers over many of today's programs. saw a weird pedo scene in the new Scooby doo🙄
Hey u/Suseq2018 - I've seen your posts on other topics and viewed them with interest as we share similiar instincts on popular culture.
Thought I'd drop the Fighting Monarch website for you. It's somewhat hit or miss, and definitely a "grain of salt" experience, but he has great digs on Pop Culture (especially TV) from your era you might enjoy. Warning probably not necessary for you, but he does write from the standpoint of a MK ULTRA survivor, so his digs can get pretty dark when he talks about his experiences.
well you got that one right:) thanks for remembering me, looks exactly like the kind of stuff I like to read on weekend nights; entertaining, yet educational. I used to take my books everywhere when younger, even to the bar🤓 can only handle an idle mind for so long.
and I was young, so I didn't have any concrete reasons not to like Mr. R.,
but I could tell there was an agenda.
like a dumbing down/weakening of what children can really do.
young American children in the 1800s' were very capable and and mature. and my mother who grew up in the 30s-40s was also very tough. PBS seemed weak to me compared to the books my parents were reading at night.

What was strange about Mr rogers? I loved his show as a kid. What rabbit hole did I miss?

definitely, I'm sure he helped a lot of children with the basics & gave them structure.
and I don't think he's a creeper...he also could have been manipulated unknowingly...into slowly pushing ideas into society.
like Q said many of these people are victims too
