Careful What You Wish For
✝️ Scripture 🕊️
My mother spent 5 days in a hospital awaiting surgury, with no food, for a recovery bed to open up at any of 3 hospitals. As the fam prayed, I pointed out the two possibilities of one of those beds becoming available and that the GOOD one takes a while...
For contextual purposes, the issue is lack of beds from which to recover from surgery. The desire was for ONE of them to open up. How do recovery rooms become available? They either walk out or leave in a black bag. Once again, be careful what you wish for. BTW, everything somehow went warp speed not long after...
What did you mean by no food for five days? I didn’t make any sense to me either
Dr. referred her to an ER for emergency gall bladder removal and it just got worse. Health system in (insert state here) is crap. Sent her to another city. Couldn't find the surgeon, couldn't find any room, etc. Finally flew her to another state to deal with the complications. In all, she had TWO meals in 12 days, most of it with no oral intake waiting for tests, Dr's, etc.
And there was nobody there to make sure she was eating? No family members nothing? I would never allow my family to fly around and two or three different locations without being there or demanding to be there. I’m a badger
