All good and all that, but you do know Poland has a law that forces businesses to shut down on Sunday in the name of 'getting back to God' and all that

Switzerland is like that too. Probably a European thing. Their perspective is that if they don't make it illegal to work on Sunday, then people's employers will force them to work on Sundays.
