I completely understand this. And I almost did it myself. Speaking with some vet friends, and even my own vetran father I decided against it. Yes it's a sign we're in distress, but it is also an insult to our service members that stand for us.
Then I thought to take it down but decided, no FUCK THAT, FUCK THEM. I bought a bright ass light to shine on my flag to piss off my commie libtard neighbors.
If you fly a flag at night proper protocol requires a light be shined upon it.
I've always had a rather anemic solar light. Not no more bucko. You can see mine from a mile down the road now. :)
A bit of a tangent but could you recommend the lighting "line" you're using? I bought a relatively "beefy" solar light and it fails well before dawn (full sun all day) and I have to take my flag in and out every day.
I don't mind the chore, it's a daily reminder of freedom. But I WOULD like to fly her at night. TIA
