I was on 4chan and found 8chan through it, although 8chan at the time was just known as a place where people who were upset at 4chan's censorship of child pornography tended to hang out. I moseyed over there when I heard about Q doing his thing.

I was around on Reddit, but there were a lot of other places to hang out with Q people besides Reddit for a while.
