I do a lot of research. I feel my decisions are very informed. Are they the right decision? I do not know. Many have worked out well so far, some have yet to prove useful (like some investments) but they may yet. But all of my decisions are informed.

Don't confuse "right" decision with "informed" decision. Use critical thinking, discernment and due diligence to do the best you can. That is how we win the war. It is the very development of that skill that leads to victory. Making mistakes along the way is how we learn. It doesn't stop the process, it helps improve it.
