I was just denied dental service because when I arrived I refused to sign a questionnaire about if I have or have had covid like symptoms. I have the manager on video clearly saying that I am being denied service for this reason. Does anyone know if I have any legal options regarding this?

I believe that is patient abandonment.
If you are a new patient they can limit their practice but if you are an established patient denying you care is abandonment. Any adverse effects or costs the denying practitioner could be held accountable.
My kid had a tooth pulled on a Friday before Labor day. The next day he had lots of problems so I called the dentist. Staff didnt want to work later on a holiday weekend so didnt give the Dr the message. I called again at 11 AM and she said the doctor is gone now I should have called sooner (flat out lie as I 1st called at 9 AM) so go to ER. Took him to ER and insurance wouldnt pay. So I filed a complaint with ADS and the dentist paid based on patient abandonment and the incident is on his record.
That's awesome. Never heard of that. Thank you for posting and sorry about your kid.
