This reminds me of the time about 5 years ago when my church required children's ministry volunteers to get updated police checks. No problem. I go for mine and I'm flagged for a level 2 check and need to be fingerprinted. Why? Because there is a registered offender somewhere in Canada (I'm in Canada, btw) with the same date of birth and initials as me. So, why fingerprint me? Because the local police aren't allowed to know that perp's identity, so they have to check that I'm not him using my fingerprints. I asked, so how often does this situation arise? There must be many of these coincidences. Answer: about 1/3 off the time. Great way for our government to collect fingerprints of Christians for future use, n'est-ce pas? If I knew then what I know now about our government, I never would have agreed to getting fingerprinted, but oh well, I guess I'm in God's hands.

That seems excessively inconvenient! However you are exactly, God is in control!
