Last year around March or April, whenever I first heard about Australian researchers having in vitro success with ivermectin, I went to Petco to verify that I could get it OTC. I picked up the package, checked the ingredients and made a mental note that it was there on the shelf. This was Heartgard for dogs. I also googled poison control FAQs and reports to see what they recommended if a person took it; seemed safe. Once the MSM picked it up, a week later, petco would only dispense it with a vet prescription. It might be California, maybe the board of pharmacists, maybe just petco, I don't know who, but it was certainly removed from access. Horse version still available, but you have to go to tack & feed places, which are rarer in the city. I expect them to take it away, unless we're that close to the big tweet.
