No time now, but I'll come back and tell you later. In the meantime, if you don't want to wait, you could DM Catsfive and ask for help. That sort of info would be good on the sidebar or as a sticky, anyway.
Okay, here is what you do. Get ready to start archiving, missy!
First, try to remember this name or at least do a search for it. Wayback. Here is the link. wayback.archive.org
This is very, very easy to do. Just take it one step at a time and before you know it, you'll be a pro.
Go to that page. Near the top you'll see a box. THAT box is actually for SEARCHING, not for saving. Look down just a little on the page and on the right side you'll see another, smaller box that says, 'save a page.' That is the box you use for saving a page. Paste a page url (address) into that box and hit save.
Once you do that, you'll get a message that the page is being saved. When it's finished saving it, you will see another message that it is done. And there will be a link to the new, saved page. Check the link. Click on that link and you should see the page you wanted to save - and at the top, you'll see the 'Wayback Machine' logo. That is the version that you'll see anytime you link this page. So if you posted something with that link and I opened the link, that is what I'd see.
Easy peasy! Please do experiment around with this, saving pages. And if you have any trouble, just leave me a message here and I'll help. And please do acknowledge that you saw this message so I'll know you got it. Thanks and have fun!
