I remember when Houston was actually a good place to live, that had changed by the 80s tho. Seems like the movie Urban Cowboy ruined everything.
That's my usual chamber of commerce spiel, I don't want any more snowbirds or refugees from NY and California or mexico or iran or ....just stay right where you all are at now, fix THAT place up.
We still have a business over in Houston tho, we were gonna sell it but the Lovely Wife wants to keep it now, she's afraid that any new owner might try to have a mask or vax dementia or something, she worries about our employees.
