Hate to sound like a worthless piece of shit, but...
What freedom were they fighting for?
You're not a worthless piece of shit for pointing this out.
I'll tell you whose freedom they were fighting for. And it wasn't our blue-collar American's freedoms. It wasn't even the freedoms of Afghani people.
They were fighting for the freedoms of
"Defense" contractors
Military Industrial Complex,
Drug runners/Big Pharma.
Globalist Corporations
All enabled by your--->>> [Congressmen] [Senators] [House] to make a killing off the resources of the land.
That is who our military answers to.
They fight on behalf of enriching career criminals.
Military men and women are only property of the U.S. government. No matter how noble their aspirations may be when they join. Most become brainwashed and indoctrinated, it's the easiest way to advance. To tow the line, and ask no questions. Let your superiors do the thinking for you. Whose superiors do the thinking for them.
I completely agree with you, with the Barbary Wars having been an exception.
Those responsible must decorate a tree by Christmas.
So true....so very sad....
I agree with this, but can we seriously stop pretending the military is fighting afghans in another country for "our" freedoms? It's the most low IQ take you can possible have 20 years after 9/11
There is no better illustration of the decrepitude of Western civilization than the deification of a washed-up junky just because of the circumstances around his OD death. A man who lived like he died: worthless. But buried in a golden casket in a farcical clown-show mockery of the solemn ceremonies of death.
It's actually kind of great, to be honest. Its like we get to see Rome burn in slow motion from front row seats.
Please, let's keep it real. No one in Afghanistan was EVER fighting for my freedom, or yours.
We can grieve the loss of those left to remain in the crosshairs without turning their deaths into something it wasn't.
Frankly, any comparisons to the karmic death of a fentanyl addict is quite gross, and should be rejected outright. But, muh memes...
