Came here for this comment. Or how about that the school was set for demolition the next week due to asbestos contamination and hadn’t been in use for over a year?

I believe Wolfgang Halbig concluded that the Sandy Hook elementary school hadn't been used since 2008. There were zero kids attending that school in 2012.
