Most wars end up being a war of attrition. Beat down, mentally your opponent to the point they just succumb because it's easier than fighting.
It's lazy, quite honestly.
"I'm too lazy to research if I'm doing the right thing for my body"
"I'm too lazy to stand up for what I believe"
"I'm too lazy to question anything because, well everyone is doing it so it must be right"
In response to my mother and her newest baby-daddy giving me the usual “oh brother the conspiracy theorist is at it again!” eye-roll, I reminded my mother that my stance on everything has always been firm. My beliefs have been consistent my entire life, as she should well know because SHE raised me. I also reminded her that, at one point, she actually agreed and encouraged my mindset.
Her rebuttal was (I kid you not), “Yeah, but then I realized that it’s a really deep rabbit hole, and at the end of the day this is the world we live in so we may as well accept it.”
Translation: “Ehhhhh, resistance is effort! Just bend over and spread ‘em, it’s going to happen either way!”
Might be worth noting, we were NOT talking directly about politics... they’re a lost cause and I know better. This was the result of me forbidding them from buying my toddler an Alexa for Christmas, and calling it Orwellian surveillance technology.
Normies have completely given up, they’ll accept anything.

I didn't vote my entire adult life because I knew the system was rigged.
The only reason I voted for Trump in 2016 was a fuck you to the establishment. My vote didn't make a difference as Hillary won my state.
