I'd like to believe that's true, or at the very least, possible.
But I also believe that on each side, there are people who know where the bodies are buried throughout the pharmaceutical/regulatory/medical/bureaucratic industries. So I kinda doubt they'd throw the right level of shade to do any real damage, because then they'd all go down
Perhaps, he who flips first lives to see another day, gets to die with dignity instead of being literally torn apart. The selfish can always be relied upon to do the selfish thing. Fear is potent motivator, eventually they will figure it out even though they are very stupid.
