Patients on blood thinners cannot take HQ or consume citrus(quinine). Is this a coincidence, or can they really be this evil?

I'm referring to the prescribed medication that they tell you is dangerous if you stop taking. Aspirin is pretty harmless I'm guessing. Always consult with your doctor first though!
