Very good reasons to:

Have emergency preps in place: Food (both for humans and pets), water, medicine, necessities, ammo.
Have cash on hand in case the ATMs and online banking are inaccessible.
Start learning how to use HAM radio.

All good info, just a note hams are a great group diverse however I have encountered a few libtards ugh, vaxxers so I haven’t been on in awhile so if you decide to learn get your license and listen 1st it’s funny you can tell a Lib right away just like you can tell a Patriot right away!
