I took the wife on our annual visit to Bronners Christmas Store in Frankenmuth Michigan. Id say the store overall was 95% maskless.

Our cashier though was masked and had a shield. After ringing us up she said the total of 260 something. I couldnt quite hear her so I asked again and again I heard 260 something. So i took out my wallet and proceeded to give her 260 something cash.

She counted it and then with a very annoyed look on her face and seething contempt in her voice she gave me the total again. Very politely (my wife was amazed) I said that is what I gave you. She huffed and puffed and the maskless employee that had been standing inches from this woman packing up the wifes ornaments and doodads leans over and says its 360 something.

I laughed and said take the useless mask and shield off and maybe you can communicate with humans again. The look on her face was priceless and my wife giggled all the way out the door.
