If they think the government owns the children, then they think the children are their slaves, and this implies that the parents are their slaves, as well. Owning a person is the first condition of slavery. This lie must be resisted on every level. It is a lie that only becomes true if people let it become true. People who do nothing are the ones who get enslaved. They are the ones who wind up in the cattle cars still hanging onto the hope that things will get better if they just comply.

The good news is that the momentum of history is right now on the side of those who are taking action to expose lies and outrages. It is on the side of those who resist and refuse to comply, and it has already built to the point at which nothing can stop it.

The governments of the world do not and never will own the people in their countries. That is the truth that will prevail. That is the truth that is rushing out into the streets to be heard. That is the truth that turns mothers into mama bears, and fathers into seal-team-level warriors.
