I couldn't believe my eyes as I watched all my fellow Ron Paul fans jump on the Bernie train. That's when I realized none of the people I was talking to actually understood the ideas they were supporting.
Trump and Bernie had diametrically opposed platforms, but they shared some very important traits: they talked to the American voters on their level about things that really mattered to them; they never condescended to them; and they both acknowledged that the middle and working classes had been all but destroyed.
While Hillary dismissed them as "a basket of deplorables," behaving like a privileged, elitist cunt.
When the people feel a politician actually cares about them and their well-being, that counts for a lot. Voters will support a candidate who understands their problems and concerns and wants to address them, even if they don't agree with his position on every issue.
Not all of us became Bernie bros
Yeah after Ron Paul and 2012 I was completely “fuck politics” up until around 2018 when I realized how great of a job Trump was doing.
You n me boo.

A caring communist is still a communist
And don't even get me started on what happened to libertarians
2016 Gary Johnson and Bill Weld: "UBI sounds like a fantastic idea."
Pain.
