"The design of this language is such that it is only discernable by an active mind full of references, natural understanding, and the ability to make leaps in logic."
To this I would add that establishing our little comms group strengthens us all in regards to our decoding. We all come from differing backgrounds, differing skill sets, and differing experiences and knowledge. Thus, we have the ability to throw out all sorts of ideas and consider a broader range of interpretations than what we could by simply working on our own.
Much of what we do, I believe, is intuitive. There's a certain "feel" for comms. Sometimes individual bits seem to make sense, but then the overall interpretation just doesn't "feel" right. When it does feel right, it all just "clicks" and you get a certain sense of satisfaction in the interpretation. At least, this is the way it works for me.
I just want to say that I'm learning a lot from everyone and it's helping me to "up my comms game."
Same. We sometimes come from radically different points of view on comms. That is a good thing. One person can be stumped, but then another remembers a different meaning of the word and that can cause a sort of ping-pong as we bounce around what it could mean. It's harder for us since we are not the ciphers writing these. We are the ones attempting to decipher which means we have to figure out what the cipher was thinking and where the connections are.
