I’m not someone who advocates for fake news and I’ll call it out whenever I see it. The fact that you can’t even own up to it is incredibly telling that you can’t even be bothered to

A) verify that you’re correct

B) admit when you’re wrong

What’s so hard about saying “my bad” and deleting/correcting the post? What’s so hard about that?
