No one here censors "the uncomfortable things," I see questionable ass shit on here all the time. People who are most likely shills that the mods don't kick out. They are usually allowed to stay unless it's overwhelmingly obvious. Considering that letting shills run amok would absolutely destroy this board the mods do a pretty good job striking that balance.
I am not talking out of my ass here. I have seen it happen on multiple occasions. Topics that are otherwise perfectly reasonable with evidence get removed just because it doesn't meet some standard of some mod.
Regardless though, if someone comes here and puts forth doom or black pills, showing them evidence to the contrary can be helpful. Not just for that person, but for other people who encounter similar black pills from other people in their own life. All of these arguments and discussions are helpful, and should not be silenced. Our job is to help the world transition. We can't do that if we silence everyone who is searching, even if they are dooming, or those who are offering what they consider to be evidence, even if we have found counter evidence to it already.
Continuing to show that evidence helps reinforce the position, and helps others coming to it for the first time.
The only time anything should be removed imo is when it is almost unquestionably a direct attack on the boards.

Fair points. Like I said I haven't seen it. I've seen people who were almost certainly shills attacking mods and they're still around.
